  I just wanted to extend my appreciation to the staff for their service in resolving my recent issue. I ordered a 20' extension ladder in early July, and it arrived damaged. Rather than make me wait another month for a replacement, they gave me a refund, and offered me an excellent deal on a 24' replacement they already had on the shelf. I got a better ladder for less, and I'm very satisfied with their service. Many thanks.

  After not being approached by employees that walked past me without offering help, I found the area I wanted. I did not find what I wanted and left the store empty handed. I worked at this Lowe's location for six years and in retail for another 30 years. We were taught to approach customers and ask if they needed assistance. Now, the customer has to approach the employees, who are to busy talking to one another to be bothered approaching a customer. In no way is this an isolated incident. I have encountered the same attitude in many other stores. The larger the business, the worse the service has become. I won't return to any of your locations. I will get what I want from Amazon or another internet source. Keep up the low effort customer service attitude and you won't have to worry about these types of responses. The above one star rating is only because this lousy site won't let me post without at least a one star rating. Not a bad idea, as this will help with your customer service average rating.
